Overview

Impact Office Supplies, a Queensland-owned office supplies company delivering nationwide, faced challenges in efficiently managing their delivery operations. To streamline logistics, improve operational efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction, I developed a custom delivery management software tailored to their needs. The software was also adopted by Blue Ink Group in Canberra.

Challenges

  1. Manual Delivery Coordination: Inefficient and time-consuming processes for organising delivery runs, leading to potential delays.

  2. Lack of Real-time Visibility: No real-time tracking of drivers and deliveries, causing operational blind spots.

  3. Paper-based Invoices: No digitised system, creating a lot of paper waste and inefficiencies for staff to organise delivery runs with multiple drivers.

  4. Limited Driver and Staff Tools: Existing systems lacked vehicle-owned delivery management tools for drivers and staff to manage deliveries effectively.

Solution

A custom-built delivery management software was developed with a comprehensive staff dashboard and a driver-focused dashboard to streamline operations for both B2B and D2C deliveries.
